Recess 

The Grade 1 - 6 students go outside for afternoon recess and during the lunch time to play, socialize and have exercise. Students are asked to be prepared for changing weather with proper coats, hats, mittens, umbrellas, etc. In the rare event of inclement weather, students will have their breaks inside.

Office 

• We ask that you do not phone the school to speak to your child.  Should there be a emergency or very important message the office is happy to make sure the student is informed.
• Please make lunch and after school arrangements with your child before they leave in the morning and communicate via email with your child's teacher regarding any alternative plans for pickup. These calls are disruptive to the classrooms see our attendance page for further information. 

Teachers 

• Messages: can be sent via email please allow them time to respond to your email as they are teaching during the day.  
• Appointments: After school meetings with the teacher need to be booked ahead of time.  Teachers often have meetings and duties afterschool, but they are happy to arrange times to meet.
