Dear Earl Grey Families,
I hope you’re enjoying these last days of summer and finding time to rest, recharge, and enjoy your loved ones! As we prepare to launch into the 2025–26 school year, I want to share a few important details to help ensure your child’s first day on Tuesday, September 2 goes smoothly.
✉️ Teacher Introductions
By Friday, August 29 around 2:30 PM, you will receive an email from your child’s homeroom teacher. It will include a warm welcome and helpful information about the first day.
🏫 Class Placements
In June, our staff worked thoughtfully to create balanced and supportive classrooms based on many factors. As such, we are unable to accommodate changes to class placements.
📍 Where to Find Us on Day One
Staff will be outside on the school field at 7:45 AM to welcome students and families. The final morning bell rings at 8:00 AM, so please arrive a few minutes early to help your child connect with their teacher and find their class lineup.
Kindergarten families: You should have already received information about your staggered entry via email. If you didn’t, no worries give the school a call.
Finally, if you could please take a moment before Tuesday to discuss your child’s end-of-day plan with them so they feel confident and safe about how they are getting home. Please let their teacher know the plan that morning as well.
