Morning Start time
Instruction at Earl Grey begins promptly at 8:00 a.m. We recognize that this is an early start; however, it is important that students are in their classrooms and ready to begin learning by 8:00 a.m.
The 7:57 a.m. bell is a warning bell, letting students know that it is time to make their way to their classrooms. For students who benefit from a little extra time to get settled and ready for the day, we offer a soft start beginning at 7:50 a.m.
We have noticed an increase in students arriving after 8:00 a.m. and appreciate families' support in helping students arrive with enough time to be ready for learning when instruction begins.
Thank you for helping us start each day positively and on time!
