This beautiful picture is from Mrs. Helsen’s Grade 3 class, who spent time on the land watching the sunrise. Last week’s weather provided many classes with opportunities to get outside and enjoy the outdoors. Although this is a three-day week, it looks like we will continue to have opportunities to enjoy the sunshine in the days ahead. Have a great week!!

Olympic Torch Run


Earl Grey had a wonderful time welcoming the Olympics on Friday with our very own Olympic Torch Run! Students made flags from countries around the world and enjoyed celebrating the spirit of the Olympics together.

Staff Parking Lot


Please note that the school parking lot is not available for public parking or student drop-off during the school day, as this creates an unsafe situation for students and staff.

If you are dropping your child off after 8:00 a.m., please ensure they enter through the front doors so they can be signed in and properly accounted for. Please do not knock at the back door to be let in.

Thank you for your cooperation and for helping us keep all students safe.

Attendance Line


Please follow the steps below to report your child absent:

  • Call 403-777-8570 (option 1) if your child will be absent.
  • If picking up early, sign out in the green binder at the office.
  • Late arrivals must check in at the office before going to class.
  • Bus students: notify the office if you plan to pick them up instead.

Teacher Convention


Reminder that this week is a three day week Feb 9-11, as teachers will be engaging in Professional Learning Feb 12-13 at the Annual Teachers Convention.

Report Cards and Parent Teacher Interviews


Report cards will be released on February 24, 2026. Parent-Teacher Interviews will take place on the evening of Thursday, February 26, and there will be no school on Friday, February 27 to allow for interviews to continue during the day
