EARL GREY WEEKLY UPDATE

As the weather continues to warm up, it’s been wonderful to see students enjoying more opportunities to be active and engaged in their learning. Our Quickdraw Animation Residency is continuing, and students are learning so much about the animation process while exploring their creativity.

We also had a fantastic week with Rocks and Rings, where students had the chance to learn the basics of curling and try out their skills right here at school.

Next week, we are excited to keep the momentum going by welcoming the Calgary Flames Foundation Classroom Crew, who will be working with students on floor hockey and helping to keep our kids active and having fun.

A big thank you to our School Council and Parent Society for making these incredible opportunities possible for our students. Your support truly enriches the experiences we are able to offer at Earl Grey!

Please follow the steps below to report your child absent:

  • Call 403-777-8570 (option 1) if your child will be absent.
  • If picking up early, sign out in the green binder at the office with name and reason.
  • Late arrivals must check in at the office before going to class.
  • Bus students: notify the office if you plan to pick them up instead..

We have had a GREAT start to our pop up store!!

Taking orders till March 29, students, staff, and families can order Earl Grey t-shirts and hoodies and have them shipped directly to your home — easy and convenient!

This limited-time opportunity gives everyone the chance to proudly show off their Earl Grey spirit at school, on field trips, at sporting events, or out in the community!

This is also a small fundraiser for our school. $5 from every item purchased goes directly back to Earl Grey. Funds raised will support student experiences such as field trips, special events, and other opportunities that enhance learning.

Calgary Flames Foundation Classroom Crew


The Calgary Flames Foundation Classroom Crew will be with us this week! Forms should have been sent home by classroom teachers. Please make sure those forms are returned so students can participate in this great opportunity.

Please reach out to your classroom teacher if you do not have a form.
