EARL GREY WEEKLY UPDATE

What a fantastic week at Earl Grey!

A huge thank you to our Student Leadership Team for hosting such a meaningful Pink Shirt Day assembly. We are so proud of the leadership and care they show in building an inclusive school community. Thank you as well to the many parents who joined us — we truly value the opportunities to come together as a school community.

Parent-Teacher Conferences were another highlight of the week. It was wonderful to connect, celebrate student growth, and strengthen our home–school partnership.

Looking ahead, this week kicks off our Quickdraw Animation residency, and we’re excited to welcome Rocks and Rings as they introduce our students to the sport of curling.

There is never a dull moment at Earl Grey — and we wouldn’t have it any other way!

Front Entrance & Visitor Check-In Procedures


When arriving at the school, please use the buzzer located on the right-hand side of the front entrance. This alerts our office team that someone is at the door and ready to come in. When we greet you, we kindly ask that you share your name and the reason for your visit, then stop by the office to check in.

Thank you for helping us maintain a safe and secure environment for all of our students and staff.

Please follow the steps below to report your child absent:

  • Call 403-777-8570 (option 1) if your child will be absent.
  • If picking up early, sign out in the green binder at the office with name and reason.
  • Late arrivals must check in at the office before going to class.
  • Bus students: notify the office if you plan to pick them up instead..

👕 Earl Grey Pop-Up Spirit Wear Store is Open!

We’re excited to share that our Earl Grey Pop-Up Spirit Wear Store is now open!

From February 24 – March 29, students, staff, and families can order Earl Grey t-shirts and hoodies and have them shipped directly to your home — easy and convenient!

This limited-time opportunity gives everyone the chance to proudly show off their Earl Grey spirit at school, on field trips, at sporting events, or out in the community!

This is also a small fundraiser for our school. $5 from every item purchased goes directly back to Earl Grey. Funds raised will support student experiences such as field trips, special events, and other opportunities that enhance learning.

We’re starting with t-shirts and hoodies to gauge interest in spirit wear. If we see strong enthusiasm, we would absolutely consider opening another store — possibly right at the start of the next school year!
