Our Spring Fling Fun Dance was a huge success. Our students loved it! We wish to thank all the parent volunteers for your support in making this a ‘new annual tradition’ at Earl Grey! We also wish to thank the Zannis family for your donation of flowers and plants to be used in our courtyard. Students will be planting them next week.
Mrs. Sorensen Retirement Celebration
Mrs. Sorensen’s Retirement Party will be held on Thursday June 13 at the Loch Gallery.
This event isn't just about bidding farewell to Mrs. Sorensen; it's about our community uniting for a heartfelt cause. Ticket proceeds will fund the new playground, a cherished symbol of growth, with a special place to be named in honor of Mrs. Sorensen's lasting legacy. We invite you to participate in our silent auction, where you can bid on a variety of items generously donated by local businesses and community members.

Student Snacks, Coffee Pods and Office Reminders
If you are able to support the school in providing snacks for students and coffee pods for teachers volunteers please drop them off at the office. Also, if you are picking your child up prior to dismissal, please sign them out at the office.
Playground Committee Update
Door knocking for a class pizza party!
Door knocking is underway! If you haven't signed up please do. There are still 8-10 areas that are needing volunteers to help with. Sign up now to spread the word about the playground project and earn points towards a pizza party for your child's class! Deadline for earning points is the end of May.

May 30 and June 27 from 4 - 8 PM
Blaze gives a 20% kick back to Earl Grey Parent Council for programs such as the reading program, art residencies, new playground project, concerts etc. use the Blaze fundraising code (1107A) when placing your order from 4 - 8 PM to raise money for the school.

Volunteer Tea – Wednesday, May 29 at 1:00 PM
The Earl Grey Staff and Students would like to take an opportunity to say Thank You to all of our Volunteers who have given so generously of their time to help out our students and school during the 2023/2024 school year.
If, by chance you have not received an invitation to our annual tea, please let us know if you can attend on Wednesday, May 29 at 1:00 PM. We will have entertainment, munchies and beverages for you to enjoy as we celebrate YOU, our wonderful volunteers. We would very much appreciate you giving us an RSVP so we may plan for your attendance!
