Hello Earl Grey Families,
Mrs. Sorensen
After a 40 year teaching career, our much-loved music teacher, Kathaleen Sorensen, has announced her retirement. Mrs. Sorensen began her teaching career in 1982 in Regina, Saskatchewan with moves to Kelowna, BC, before settling in Calgary where she has taught for the past 27 years. Over these many years, Mrs. Sorensen has taught numerous children, sharing her passion and love of music. We have been very fortunate to have Kathy at Earl Grey directing us all in the many memorable concerts and performances. Mrs. Sorensen will be missed. We wish Kathy and her family the very best as she begins her next adventure.
More information will be coming out next week about our plans to celebrate Mrs. Sorensen remarkable career.
