Welcome Back and Happy New Year!

It’s cold! However, CBE schools remain open and busses are running. If you take the bus, please log into My Bus Monitor for information on your child’s route for any delays or cancelations. Also check the main CBE website for updates due to severe weather.

Science Fair: March 11 and 12, 2024

Please see the attached letter outlining our plans for our upcoming Science Fair.

Also, please mark the dates as we will need 20 to 25 parent judges to support our fair. Thank you to Miss Aida for being our Science Fair coordinator this year.

Girls’ Choir

85 excited girls showed up for our first practice with the Girls’ Choir on Wednesday! All girls in grades Kindergarten through six are invited to join the choir which will meet regularly from now until the end of February on Wednesdays at lunch time (11:15- 11:45) in the music room. Next Wednesday will be the last opportunity to join. The girls are asked to commit to attending each week and are only excused if they are absent from school.

It is hoped that we will end our eight weeks with a field trip performing at possibly, a school and a senior’s home, celebrate with a pizza party and end the day with a school performance at Earl Grey, allowing parents to come and hear the choir.

I would ask that the girls prepare for their final performance by having both a black top and black bottoms.

Thanks to Mrs. Branco and Mrs. Clark for providing supervision during our rehearsals!
