Hello Earl Grey Families,

Thank you to all our amazing Support Staff at the school! We appreciate your dedication and constant support of our students, staff and school community.

With the weather changing, please ensure that your child has the appropriate jackets and foot wear. All students should have a pair of indoor and outdoor shoes.

Jacket Racket – Winter Clothing Drive

Earl Grey School is helping out, by collecting gently used winter jackets, snow pants, hats and mittens to be distributed to children who need them.

Jacket Racket has been providing clean, gently used winter jackets to Calgary children since the 1980’s. The project runs every year from mid-October to mid-November. Coats, snow pants, hats and mittens are collected, sorted and distributed by a group of dedicated volunteers. The distribution is done through the Calgary Board of Education and the Calgary Catholic School District.

We will be accepting donations for Jacket Racket until Thursday, November 2. Please send any donation items to the school’s main office. Thank you to our Peace Club for taking this on!

Remembrance Day Memories

Our Earl Grey Remembrance Day Service will be held on November 8th at 10:30 am, hosted by the Boys’ Choir. We are inviting any Earl Grey student to share a picture and brief summary of ancestors who have served in the Armed Forces. We would ask you to submit both a picture and a paragraph to Mrs. Sorensen by Friday, October 27, 2023. Students will be presenting their submission at the service.

Please include the name of the person, their relationship to the student, where and when the person served and any other significant information.

Purdy’s Chocolate Fundraiser

Shop gifts for family, friends, neighbours AND yourself in one convenient place. After all orders are submitted, we’ll sort, distribute, and let you know when you can collect your goodies.
