Dad’s Breakfast and Sports Day – Monday June 17
Our annual Dad’s Pancake Breakfast will be held this Monday June 17 from 7:30 to 9:00 a.m. Rain or Shine! (If its raining we will eat inside) All families are welcome to attend! Thank you to all the Dad’s who have agreed to volunteer. The school will be open at 6:30 a.m.to set up. Coffee will be served!
Sports Day – Parent Volunteers Needed
Our annual sports day will be held after our Dad’s Breakfast on Monday, June 17. If the weather does not cooperate, we will have an alternate date being Tuesday, June 18. Both dates, (Monday or Tuesday if needed) will run from 8:45 to 11:00 a.m. Please watch for a message from the school in the morning, if Sports Day will be cancelled due to rain.
Because of our current City of Calgary water restrictions, we will not be running water activities this year.

Playground Committee Update and Silent Auction - Please send this link out to Friends and Family!
Online bidding is open at https://www.32auctions.com/EGP The online silent auction has been well received. Bidding is open until Thursday, June 20 at 12noon.
Thank You very much to everyone who has donated to the playground revitalization project. We are excited to have reached $95,000, a third of the way to our individual/corporate donor fundraising goal and very close to achieving $100,000 raised.
A special thank you to the Earl Grey Parent Association who approved a $25,000 donation to the playground project at our School Council meeting on June 11.
The committee presented an update to the School Council which is included here for your reference and review. It will also be uploaded onto the www.egplayground.ca website by Monday. If you have any questions or comments please feel free to use the contact us form on the website to provide them.
